What You'll Learn

The Rocklin Friends of the Library are pleased to partner with MakersXD to bring a week-long camp to Rocklin's Hacker Lab! The Friends believe it is important for kids to gain digital literacy skills that will assist them in their academic life, and enable them to express themselves creatively too.

This course allows students to code a stuffed animal to perform basic tasks like, chasing, spinning, and purring. Students will use the Arduino open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. By the end of the course, multiple behaviors will be created and the student will leave with their very own PetBot!

This class is best suited for ages 10+.

This is a week long class that runs July 8 - July 12 from 9:00am to 12:00pm each day. The $20 registration covers all 5 days of this class.
