The techie night mertup group is a place where electronics hobbysits, industry pros, and enthusiates can meet and discuss a wide variety of electronics topics.

Put on by Hacker Lab staff and teachers, well cover anything from the latest in electronics and microcontrollers projects to whatever topics the attendees are curios about. This forum is a great place to bring your latest project and your questions. Our teachers will be bringing their most recent class projects and personal projects to share with you. Special presenters will join us to share their knowledge - everything from hardware systems to the latest in projects.

This Month

CTO of Hacker Lab Nile Mittow will be giving a talk on DiY IoT with a hobbyist/home automation focus.  He'll cover some of the many boards an platforms that exist in the current ecosystem as well as a few of the common easy ways to get them all talking, with a focus on RESTful APIs, MQTT, and keeping your data as local as possible.
