ROC-300: Making 3D Art with the Laser Cutter
About This Class
Learn to create intricate layered laser cut designs and walk out with your very own framed work of art!
This class will take you from conception to complete design as we take a look at different artists from around the globe for inspiration, then create our very own masterpieces. Each participant* will design the shapes to be used in their piece, then be able to use our basic laser software to cut their design. We will then assemble and paint you works of art (time permitting), and you will go home with an amazing framed piece of art.
Hacker Lab members: Although you will be running the laser to print your design, this DOES NOT count for your beginner laser class needed to run the machine by yourself. We hope it helps inspire you to further exploration!
Skill Level: Beginner (no experience needed!). There will be a $10 materials fee for this class.
What To Bring To Class?
