ROC-KIDS: Intellibricks - DASH Presentation & Public Speaking
June 25th - June 29th
1pm - 4pm
In our ever-more-connected world, our kids want to know how to present themselves to the world. Over a five-day period, we will gain confidence speaking in front of an audience, learn how to present our ideas clearly, and use new technologies to support us in the process. We will learn how to gesture and project, how to write outlines and intros, and how to create templates and well-designed slides. By the end of the course, students will have a handbook full of tips, tricks, and lessons that they can use to keep improving independently, so the learning process continues as long as you want!
Our mission at IntelliBricks is to raise the overall awareness and adeptness of today’s children in the realms of technology and engineering through hands-on activities. Creating self-coded, machine-based projects using teamwork and cooperation, our goal is to introduce students to the basic STEM concepts necessary to adapt to the future’s technological advances while teaching the real-world social skills they will need to succeed and thrive.
