Pictures go great with presentations. Videos, too! They add so much more information than you can convey with just words. But what do you do when you don’t have pictures or videos to reference in a conversation?
You create them in your listener’s heads with visual language - or, more simply, with stories.
So let’s pause and take stock of what we’ve got so far. We know:

- What their world looks like
- Precisely how we can help them
It’s time to put some more details into our offering now without losing our customer’s attention. This workshop will show you how to tell two different types of stories about your business in a way that keeps their attention:
- The story you tell to friends, family, and stakeholders
- The story you tell to your customers,
You’ll walk away from this workshop with two complete stories that you’ll be able to tell people right away. We have scripted formats where all you have to do is fill in the blanks and read them out loud. If you’ve attended the prior workshops, you’ve got most of what you need already to put your stories together! And if you haven’t, that’s ok, it’s easy enough to fill out on the fly.
Finish this workshop and you’ll be equipped to knock it out of the park with your customers every time. You’ll be able to capture their attention and get them to lock eyeballs with you as you tell them how you’re going to help them with their problems.
About the How to Get Customers Workshop Series
All the books on starting businesses are awesome, but there’s one shortfall: they tell you what to do once you’ve got customers. They don’t tell you where to find them.
In the beginning, that whole ‘find customers’ task seems like any other, but if you’ve tried to do it, you’ve likely discovered that the ‘customer’ is an elusive creature. You don’t have to have a formed business idea to take this workshop - as you progress through it, your customer will tell you what they want! Also, while it’s recommended that you attend all six workshop in the series, it’s not required.
